'MASTER COPY' was an exploration of texture and pacing, making digital animation feel tactile and analog, visualising the process of music production.
This animated Instagram Reel was made using After Effects and Illustrator, with all music and sound designed in Logic Pro.
Design
This personal project required thoughtful planning as I developed it from initial sketches, storyboarding various visual moments and figuring out how to get from point A to point B.
After getting the substantial animation underway, I experimented with pushing the aesthetic further by layering motion, grain, and other subtle details in order to tightly combine visuals and sound, while storytelling in a short format.
Result
The result is a compact, multi-disciplinary piece that showcases illustration, motion, and music production, designed to grab attention on Instagram while reflecting my passion for music and animation.
